Car paint:   Save money and get a paint job that’s done to a professional standard  without any short cuts.

First some proof for you, I am going to tell you my back ground in the car paint trade , this is mainly because if you don’t trust in me in my car paint skills and knowledge, then there is no point.

The first job I had  was as a carpentry trainee, not car paint but don’t worry ill get round to it, to be honest I was forced in to it and was not very good at it. But as I worked there every now and then there was paint job needed to be primed or painted on the wood framed windows or doors. The conditions I was working in at the time were terrible at the time due to no training in the paint side,and not having knowledge of anything. So I had to learn through trial and era as each job to paint come through the doors.

Soon the manager realized my potential as a Permanent painter, and from then on I was in the paint shop full time. This was my first job as a painter, but the stress due to lack of training an more advanced painting systems I didn’t no how to use annoyed me. So i trained my self on how to use different types of paint that the company were buying. Because they had not realized there were different spraying equipment needed to paint the product they had.

Frankly, the fact there was no training was there down fall in the paint shop, if it was not for me getting the information needed there would not have been a paint shop. I’m pretty confident that most people would not have put that effort in.

So I’m sure that you would agree that through my innovation and determination that information needed to do the job to a high standard is best. I learned and progressed through the non input of the company, well done me.

Car paint: new job time

I soon realized that I needed to work for a company that would train and appreciate  my hard work and determination, so I left a moved into the auto trade and started with car paint, which was much more suited to me and i hit the ground running from the off.

Since then I have been in a car paint shop  for the last 13 years, over this time I have seen all kinds of car paint situations that could arise during car paint problems. Some problems could be from someone scratching the car paint, to flaky car paint or stone chips that just annoy you.

The only thing that is a massive problem with the whole car paint trade is the cost of the repairs, Here I can help out, I can show you and guide you through a step by step guide that covers every aspect of the car paint process.

The harsh reality is that insurance company’s and body shop garages are in a battle with each other about money given to cover the cost of the car paint repairs, and are having to take short cuts to make it worth the body shops doing the car paint job in the first place. This is bad for the car paint job and the customer, but the squeeze from the insurance company’s are making it happen. For years i have seen the times that are allocated to the individual car paint jobs have slowly dwindled away. Its not the body shop fault, or the technician working on it, it’s the big boys in the insurance game that have ruined it.

This leads to any car paint job that is not a claim from insurance,but a customer (say its you) just asking to paint a bumper, is bumped up to counter balance the difference, not fair but true.

So as I would expect this is all sinking in for you, or you have already been charged an obscene amount of money to have a car paint job  done. It is the fact that it could also of been repaired to a poor condition that you could either, not have seen to look at it, or have seen straight away there was a problem. The main thing is that if the car paint job is not done right through the whole process, it will not stay looking good for long . Due to the car paint cost issue and the cut in time allowance for car paint work, it is more than likely that this will happen.

So hopefully you now realize why this is happening everywhere, and that unless you see what is being done during the car paint processes, you don’t know until its to late.  My work is done to the recommended process, mainly because I have a conscience  and cant stand to see a bad job. I think when it comes down to it there is know point because the job only gets done again and you waste time putting things right anyway.
